"Nestled in a nook in Manhattan's West-side Theatre District and shrouded in an early morning mist, the Equitable Theatre looked quiet and unassuming. However, the stage was set for Sun Microsystems latest unveiling. It seems all the "would-be kings" of software have taken a hit as the IT paradigm shifts toward 24/7 computing faster than anticipated, but today Sun firmly planted its feet in a new direction, and chairman and CEO Scott McNealy led the way."
