Pramati Technologies and Savvion this week sealed their partnership to embed Pramati Server into Savvion BusinessManager, enabling the business process management solution to be deployed 'out-of-the-box.'
The alliance was forged to provide Savvion customers with a flexible and lightweight integrated business process management solution and give Pramati a new channel for its application server, as it offers the vendor direct access to Savvion's Global 1000 customers.
Under the terms of the agreement, Pramati will consider Savvion an ISV partner.
Going forward, Pramati's J2EE application server engine will be the foundation for Savvion BusinessManager, a comprehensive system designed to enable fast and cost-effective transformation of business processes to automated Web-based applications.
"Organizations are aggressively pursuing ways to optimize operations by automating and managing consistent, repeatable business processes -- a need that Savvion BusinessManager addresses by providing a comprehensive system enabling fast, cost-effective conversion of business processes to e-business applications", said Vijay Pullur, co-founder and CTO of Pramati.
"But in an environment where every IT line item is competing for dollars, TCO becomes an increasingly important issue. Partnering with Pramati will help Savvion set a new benchmark for price, performance, and ease of deployment, and move its solution further up on the IT implementation agenda," Pullur added.
In addition to this partnership, Pramati has inked deals with more than 100 enterprises, 40 of which are in the United States, since early 2002.
