Sybase, an enterprise infrastructure and integration company, announced the availability of its next-generation Java development environment, Borland JBuilder 7 Enterprise - Sybase Edition. A Java development solution that is designed to integrate application development lifecycle elements, increase developer productivity and allow customers to bring their applications to market faster.
In addition, Sybase is offering an updated plug-in integrating Borland JBuilder 7 Enterprise with Sybase EAServer. It is designed to allow users to develop, debug and deploy J2EE applications on EAServer. According to the company, Borland JBuilder is the leading cross-platform environment for building business, database, and distributed applications for the Java 2 platform. JBuilder Enterprise - Sybase Edition is designed to simplify EJB 2.0 development with two-way visual designers and rapid deployment to a leading J2EE platform application server, Sybase EAServer. It promises to enhance developer productivity with UML code visualization, refactoring, unit testing and documentation tools, and enable development and deployment of applications on Solaris, Windows, Linux, and Mac OS platforms.
