ZebOS Server Routing Suite Receives OPSEC Certification

by Wayne Kawamoto

The ZebOS Server Routing Suite, which can transform any Solaris server into an advanced routing platform, has been certified for use with Check Point.

IP Infusion, a provider of network software for enhanced IP services, this week achieved OPSEC (Open Platform for Security) certification from Check Point Software Technologies for its ZebOS Server Routing Suite.

The ZebOS Server Routing Suite interoperates with Check Point's VPN-1/FireWall-1 solution, providing customers with dynamic routing capabilities.

IP Infusion's ZebOS Server Routing Suite is designed to provide enterprise customers with a cost-effective way to integrate routing capabilities with Check Point's VPN-1/FireWall-1 software on a single platform. The ZebOS Server Routing Suite is a scalable application that works with firewall or VPN software to create a flexible, multipurpose networking solution.

Dynamic routing enables devices to transparently obtain topology information, discover failed routes, and forward traffic through the optimal path across the network The ZebOS Server Routing Suite provides a scalable and cost-effective way for organizations to dynamically update the route table information of networking and security devices, load balance traffic between multiple LAN or WAN links, and natively support PIM-SM and MPLS-VPN pass-through across firewalls and IPSec VPN tunnels.

The enterprise-class ZebOS Server Routing Suite can transform any Linux or Solaris server into an advanced routing platform through its array of RIP, BGP, OSPF, and PIM-SM routing protocols and MPLS-VPN switching capabilities. The ZebOS Server Routing Suite can also provide detailed syslog and debug logging and SNMP management support.
